I am a big fan of the cinema. A few favorites: Fight Club, Shawshank Redemption and Jurassic Park.
I watch way too much TV. A few shows I am into now: Silicon Valley, Game of Thrones and Mr. Robot.
Music is a big part of my life. I play guitar and write my own stuff and enjoy taking in other's music.
I am a huge fan of conversing. I like talking about all sorts of things.
I have some wild food aversions. I can't stand mayo, yogurt, sour cream, raw onions or tomatoes. It is best to try and not analyze it because it is very irrational.
I am not a big fan of pets. I am sure this stems from growing up in the military. A dog use to be a wolf and a cat use to be a lion and now you pick up their turds.
One of my pet peeves is when someone leaves a light on in a room they aren't in any more. Makes me even more upset when I am paying the bill.
Shopping is my least favorite activity. Some people get a rush of excitment with retail therapy, I like to see my money collect in a large pile and never touch it (if I can help it).
I have spent far too much time inside of hospitals. While I do love the advancements of medicine and science, I do not enjoy surgeries or spinal taps.
Our tribe is growing by one in June 2017!
Layla is excited to be a big sister, while Mom and Dad are excited she will have someone to play with her soon.
My wife and I just bought our first home in Apple Valley! It has been a wild ride leading up to this purchase. We have already started some renovations and have a very long list of ones to come...
I was on the Price is Right. You can watch my game right here. I won a pair of hand made french purses to get on stage. Did I win anything else? You'll have to watch!
The scar on the back of my head is from a cranial decompression (brain surgery) that was caused by a condition known as Chiari Malformation.
Basically my brain was too big to fit into my own skull and they needed to widen the whole at the base and add some tissue paper and glitter.
I also have a tube in my spine that was used to drain the fluid that had collected there, which caused paralysis before the surgery.
I had two rounds of surgery to repair this condition and after each bought I got meningitus. I should have added hospitals to my dislike section.
Chiari Malformation affects 1-1,000 people and is treatable with surgery. I am planning on getting a wicked awesome tattoo of an open zipper around the scare someday. I use to be real self conccious of the scar, but now welcome the opportunity to explain a bit about Chiari Malformation.
